Power cord is the current wire transmission. Normally the current transmission is point-to-point transmission. Power cord can be divided into the AC power cord ( click here to add captions ) and DC power cord, AC power cord is usually the wire type that through higher voltage alternating current, thus it needs higher unified standard and to obtain safety certification in order to produce it. The DC wire is basically a lower voltage direct current, so the safety requirement is not so strictly as AC wire. But for safety reasons, countries still require a unified safety certification.
